Carwood Primary Shool is set in wonderful grounds on the Holmewood estate serving a tight-knit community of families. Carwood is extremely proud of all of their children and they see the potential of each and every child.

The community is unique to the school and therefore their curriculum is tailored to reflect their background interests and cultures. They encourage parents to share in their child’s learning and successes. Carwood believes that working together in a strong partnership is the best way to ensure each child’s success. They work hard to ensure that children become independent, motivated and confident individuals who come to Carrwood to learn, aspire and achieve.

The school also has a Resourced Provision for pupils with Autism (Amber Class) where pupils’ additional needs are met within a warm and vibrant environment. They have a link to their mainstream classroom which they access for some of their lessons when the time is right for each child.
